Very special place: beautiful rooms, great wellness area, exceptional food and people! It's one of the few places, where your kids are highly welcome!

I stayed here for 2 days with my girlfriend on vacation and we loved it. The hotel is really very nice, the rooms and especially the cleanliness, as well as the staff were always nice and helpful. A great service at breakfast and the food was absolutely great. Due to illness, we needed something specific at breakfast and it was there the next day. Furthermore, the pool was beautiful and the sauna was also very pleasant. The hotel is absolutely recommendable for a great, restful and relaxing vacation.

We stayed at the Albtalblick for three nights, the room, pool area, massage and food were very good. The staff always friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure.

We had a very nice stay at the Albtalblick with a very spacious room in the adjoining building. The service in the hotel was very, very good, perfectly trained staff, very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful and organized according to the Corona regulations. Our two dinners on the wonderful terrace were also a pleasure. Big compliments again to the kitchen. The location was the perfect starting point for our mountain bike tours. We can only warmly recommend the hotel to everyone.

The entire staff is friendly and uncomplicated if you have any questions. In response to changes. Super Service. The guidelines on Corona are strictly adhered to. Despite a distance of 840 km, I would love to come back.

Super hotel. We had a room with a terrace. The pool and sauna are fantastic despite all the corona problems. The food very good and the breakfast superb. Friendly staff and fantastic massages. Would love to come back an absolute must.

The rooms are neat and nicely decorated. Only the TV could be a bit bigger. But you are not there to watch TV: D The balcony points towards the main street. So I was worried about being able to sleep properly at night, as I am very sensitive to it. But the traffic calms down at night and you can fall asleep gently. The food is very tasty, the portions are plentiful and at good prices. The service and the entire staff is very friendly and courteous. Insider tip: The freshly made waffles at the breakfast buffet are excellent! The wellness area and the swimming pool are also very well maintained. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to get a massage. Maybe next time. All in all, we were completely satisfied with our stay and that at a top price / performance ratio. I don't understand why this hotel "only" has 3 stars. I've seen much worse 4 star hotels. When I go to the Black Forest again, I will definitely come to you again. Keep it up !

After stopping in the garden restaurant one afternoon, we now wanted to try dinner in this really beautiful house with a great view on the garden terrace. A touch of autumn was probably already offered in the evening menu. A non-overloading menu with selected dishes from fish to venison to braised beef. We opted for the pot roast, the dish was really very good, the roast not dry, mashed potatoes homemade and the vegetables the kohlrabi, exactly as they should be. In terms of price, the menu was in the upper mid-range. What we didn't like at our test dinner was the really long waiting time, just until we received a menu and were able to order a drink, it was way too long to wait. The time until the food is served also has to be improved. From taking a seat at the table until the food was served, it took a full 50 minutes, which in our opinion is simply too long, hence 3 stars. Since it can happen that things don't go quite as smoothly, we may do it on another day. Try again to see if it's the rule or this time it was just an unfortunate accident.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent service from our waitress, who, by the way, was only in her second year of training. Many other waiters in other catering establishments can learn a thick slice of it. The food was in no way inferior to the service. We had the venison ragout and the salmon and shrimp salad. Very, very tasty. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much

Great panoramic bath, super nice staff, everything super clean. Breakfast delicious and the food in the restaurant was also very good. Absolutely recommendable hotel. Also disabled-friendly and child-friendly.

A very nice view and place to stay when you drive thru häusern, staff's are also very friendly. I wish to go back and stay in this hotel again.. Keep up the good work!!

A must on every tour through the Black Forest! The snack menu between 14-1800 is also very extensive and offers many great dishes! The view on the terrace is also very nice. The Kässpätzle with salad (see pictures) and all homemade desserts are highly recommended. We are looking forward to the next time!

Lovely place

Review ONLY for the restaurant: very nice traditional ambience. Food very fine and big portions in the higher price segment. Unfortunately, a star deduction, since the service left us for a long time until they came up to us and we could say that we would like to have a table for 2. Our direct service could barely German and did not know what exactly the spreads are. Pity!

Hotel is has good beds, good food, WiFi just works, you can actually watch YouTube in HD 😊

5* for food and 1* for service: the food is delicious and a good quality /price ratio; the service was almost non-existent. The waitress did not bother to remove empty glasses and plates. We were waiting 15 minutes until I got the receipt handed to my hand without a word. Hope to have the same quality of food next time with a different service.

Spent a lot of nights here for work and can fully recommend this hotel for both business and leisure. Very nice rooms, food, facilities and people. The only real 'drawback' is the lack of a real fitness room.

Only went there for dinner. Food was great, host and staff were forthcoming and friendly, atmosphere is calm, it offers both the lived-in look so common in the black forest and a freshly renovated sunroom. The place has WiFi and a gorgeous view. I can only recommend.

This is simply my favourite hotel in Southern Schwarzwald. The rooms are a good size, the pool/spa area is clean, modern and beautiful, with huge windows looking out over the forests. You can even call to the bar to have drinks delivered there. ;-) The restaurant food is excellent, although breakfast time can be over-crowded sometimes, with a long queue to the slow coffee machine. Note that aswell as the hotel, they also have a few holiday apartments around 50m away. These are also a really good price, separate bedroom and lounge areas, and are modern and spacious. The only downside, of course, is that you have a short walk to get to the hotel to use the pool/spa.
